About combination skin
In a previous post, we've tackled oily skins and all its perks and nuisances. Today, we’re focusing on combination skin, or as I would like to call it, the skin that is the best of both worlds.
Combination skin, surprisingly, only occurs on the face. You can tell if you have combination skin if after an hour or so after washing, your T- zone (the forehead, nose, and chin) is oily while the skin around your eyes and cheeks remains dry.
Most people have the combination skin type. Oily patches and larger pores are common characteristics of someone with combination skin. Other telltale signs of having this skin type are the occurrences of blackheads and whiteheads as well as dandruff in the scalp.
Best face moisturizer for combination skin with SPF in 2018
Someone with a combination skin type means extra care in reading skin care product ingredients and components to ensure that the proper elements are present for the skin.
Unfortunately, there aren’t as many products available in the market for combination skin compared to oily and dry or sensitive. Some reviews of drugstore popular combination skin moisturizers
Just because a moisturizer is available commercially and would mean it is cheaper than those that aren’t doesn't mean it does not work well. Below are some reviews of popular drugstore available moisturizers that combination skin type users loved.

I took a chance purchasing this not knowing how this would work on my oily combo acne prone skin. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight this moisturizer/SPF was. It also didn't leave a white cast on my skin. It left my skin feeling moisturized without a heavy greasy feel. I've used the entire bottle and didn't experience any breakouts other than on my usual TOTM. I would recommend this product who has any concerns that I have addressed.

My skin is obnoxiously sensitive (so very annoying) but surprisingly, this doesn't break me out. It doesn't leave a white cast on your face, but it does make you look shiny. I don't really care too much about that though. I have already used up 4 bottles of this. Boyfriend also uses it too. I prefer it over the Josie Maran argan oil spf lotion because this is moisturizing, while I had to use a moisturizer along with the Josie one. (It does have less spf though) I would like to believe I'm combination skin, but some days I'm a complete oil slick... weird skin.

This is my daily moisturizer. It works very well in minimizing fine lines at this price point. If you don't want to get yourself into buying an expensive department store moisturizer, this is a great choice. It goes on smooth and hydrating without being too greasy. But don't apply near your eyes, it does tend to burn. My only complaint is that I go through it quickly. And if you squeeze out too much, it can't be put back into the container. So squeeze sparingly.
