Meet Sean Hannity

Sean Hannity was born on December 30th, 1961, and is an American talk show host and conservative political commentator. He is currently the host of The Sean Hannity Show, a radio talk show, and is the host of cable news show Hannity on Fox News. Hannity has been greatly criticized throughout his talk show careers based on his political affiliation, especially after the 2016 Election took place. Sean Hannity's Shows

The Sean Hannity Show

The Sean Hannity Show, quite obviously starring Sean Hannity himself, airs live on weekdays from 3PM to 6PM ET on Cumulus Media Networks. His primary focus of The Sean Hannity Show is to discuss politics and, namely, what is happening in the world of politics at that very moment of the day. It is the second most-listened to radio talk show, right behind The Rush Limbaugh Show [another conservative political commentator]. Hannity describes himself as not necessarily a Republican, but rather part of the Conservative Party of New York State. Through shamelessly voicing his conservative views on live radio talk shows, he also faces a fair amount of backlash from both left wing and right wing listeners. Despite this, you'll be surprised to know how successful he has become!

Hannity [Fox News]

One of the most popular Fox News segments is the show Hannity, starring Sean Hannity himself. On the show, similar to what he does in his own live radio talk show, he discusses politics and also invites guests on his show to talk or debate with. The show typically airs at 9PM on weeknights. Hannity usually opens the show providing his own statement/commentary, then interviews others to get their insights on the situation at hand. Hannity has interviewed many political influencers in the past, including people like Governor Chris Christie, Senator Marco Rubio, and our very own President Donald Trump.

Home Life, Family, & Net Worth

Sean Hannity has managed to accrue a whopping $80M of a net worth in his time being a political commentator and talk show host! Since the original release of The Sean Hannity Show in 2001, he's definitely built up quite a reputation for himself, and it shows in his salary! He currently owns a house in Centre Island, New York, with his wife Jill Rhodes and two children.

Political Controversy

Keurig Controversy

More recently, Hannity has gotten himself into some political controversy with the advertisers of the Keurig brand. Originally, Keurig was a sponsor for the Hannity show on Fox News, but the company had decided to stop airing their advertisements on the show due to Hannity allegedly defending Roy Moore after sexual misconduct claims. In response to Keurig's decision, Hannity began retweeting some negative comments from fans that were putting down the brand, and even showing photographic evidence of themselves smashing their Keurigs to protest the decision. The official protest hashtag on Twitter was #BoycottKeurig. Eventually, Hannity took to his show to encourage people to hold onto their Keurigs and stop the protesting. It is still unclear as to whether Keurig will remain among the advertisers of the show.

Roy Moore Controversy

Roy Moore is a Republican Senate candidate who was recently accused of sexual misconduct by women who were 18 years or younger [at the time]. Hannity defended Roy Moore, saying that viewers should not be so quick to believe these allegations and not rush to judge. However, he did state that if the allegations were proven to be true, Moore should step aside from office and proper legal action should be taken. The sexual misconduct claims began arising shortly after multiple women stepped forward to accuse Bill O'Reilly [another Fox News conservative political pundit] of sexual harassment. Following that, there was the incident with Harvey Weinstein, a well-known producer and donor to several Democratic causes. Since these two allegations between the pundit and the producer, many women have stepped forward claiming to have been sexually harassed by men in both Hollywood and political office.
